FRANK  CLEMENTE  holds the position of Senior Fellow in Energy Analytics at the Center for the Study of Carbon Dioxide and Global Change.

Frank Clemente holds a Ph.D. in Social Science from the University of Tennessee and has served on the faculties of the University of Wisconsin, University of Kentucky and Penn State where he was former Director of the Environmental Policy Center. His research specialization is the Socioeconomic Analysis of Energy and Energy Policy. His work has been supported by the National Science Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation and Ford Foundation. He has published in a wide variety of media including American Coal, Oil & Gas Journal, Electric Light and Power, World Coal, Electrical World and Cornerstone Magazine. He was editor and chief author of the International Energy Agency's report The Global Value of Coal.
