Except in Bottle 5, which appears to be a real anomaly at this point of the experiment, secondary root networks continue to expand at a rapid rate.  Whereas new vine and primary root lengths this week failed to double their values of last week (see Figures 1 and 2), secondary root lengths were nearly six times greater than what they were at the end of Week 3 (see Figure 3).
