Question submitted by D.L. Anderson
Who financially supports your organization? A bonafide scientific organization? Western Fuels? That is important to know. Please provide.

Our Answer
The questioner was referred to our already published answers on our website.

Subsequent statement submitted by D.L. Anderson
I looked at your so-called answers and found them lacking.  I must presume you are agents of the fossil fuel industries, which is most unfortunate.

Mark Twain wrote, "You tell me whar a man gits his corn pone, and I'll tell you what his 'pinions is."

Our Response
In our last issue's response to K. Estrada, we came close to stating that we would not respond further to questions of this nature.  But with such good quotes continuing to come in, we feel we must share them with our patrons.

Mark Twain was indeed a keen observer of the human condition; but he wasn't God, and there are exceptions to all such "rules of thumb."  Moreover, even if knowing "whar a man gits his corn pone" did allow one to discern "what his 'pinions is," it would not resolve the more important issue of which came first: the corn pone or his 'pinions.  That being the case, our answering of your question would not tell you what we think you really want to know.

How about asking us this: Do you write about and say what you truly believe to be the truth, or do you sell your souls for money by writing and saying what you know or believe to be wrong because someone pays you to do so?  The answer to this question is that we truly believe what we write about and say.

And you certainly don't need to know where we get our funding to know what our opinions are; we state them clearly.
